Kristina Kaufmann is the new Chief Executive Officer of Brighton Marine, Inc. In this role, she’ll lead and implement what’s expected to be an expansion of Brighton’s mission to align with the evolving needs of servicemembers, veterans and their families. Her background includes co-founding and leading a tech-forward nonprofit dedicated to coordinating wrap around support for military and veteran families. Kristy first became involved in these issues over 20 years ago as a wartime Army wife advocating for military families. Her publications and media appearances include The Washington Post, New York Times, NPR, and CNN. She is a leading force in the drive to facilitate the public-private collaborations necessary to meet the needs of the military community. Kristy is a 2017 Presidio Institute Fellow and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
