Boston Council Leaders and Brighton Marine Support Veterans at the 4th Annual Summer Cookout
Creating and strengthening connections in our Veterans community is at the heart of what Brighton Marine does. We accomplished this again on a beautiful summer day in August as Veterans, families, supporters and our BMI team joined together for our fourth annual Summer Cookout.

Brighton Marine Celebrates 41 Years Of Supporting Veterans
As Brighton Marine begins the celebration of its 41st year we celebrate COL Robert E Hawes, our founder, our pillar of strength. COL Hawes led an amphibious attack on Omaha Beach on D Day. He was an inspiration then and again on August 28, 1981 when he signed our incorporation.

Brighton Marine had an eventful week last week as they welcomed Massachusetts Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley and Representative Kevin Honan to their campus, accompanied by a Recognition Ceremony to honor the newly appointed Boston Fire Department Chief, Patrick Ellis.

Brighton Marine's former President and CEO teamed up with Bruce Buckley, CEO and President of Soldier On, to pen an op-ed piece for The Berkshire Eagle shedding light on the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the Massachusetts Veterans community.

Newton Elks Donates to Veteran Housing Residents
Brighton Marine is incredibly grateful for the continued support from its community partners in the Greater Boston area. Recently, Darlene McDonald of the Newton Elks donated clothes to the residents of our Veterans Housing at Brighton Marine.
